Sarah grew up in Columbia, Maryland, and attended Villanova University. While there, Sarah studied nursing. This year Sarah will be in San Diego, California, and will be serving at the St. Vincent de Paul Village Family Health Center as a nurse. Sarah is extremely excited to see the sights in San Diego and seeing how service and nursing converge.
I, Sarah Hannan, commit myself to be an Augustinian Volunteer, to be fully present in the hope of growing throughout the year and of gaining a deeper understanding of my faith, my community, and my patients at service.

Once I started college and participated in more service activities, the more I fell in love with the people I met, the work, and the purpose.
