Keara McNulty

Keara was born in Havertown, PA. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and studied Nursing. She will be serving as an RN at St. Vincent de Paul Health Clinic in San Diego, CA. Keara chose to become an Augustinian Volunteer because she was inspired by the commitment of previous Augustinian Volunteers to selflessly commit to serve others, just as Jesus did. Keara is looking forward to serving the homeless population of San Diego and to sharing this experience of serving others with her community members.

Commitment statement:

I, Keara McNulty, commit myself to be an Augustinian Volunteer and to have an open heart and open mind and to serve all those I encounter using the examples set forth by Jesus and St. Augustine.

How did you develop a passion for service?

I developed a passion for service because I wanted to give back to those less fortunate than myself. God has given me so much in my life and I feel that the best way to show my gratitude and love for all of my blessings is my serving others in God’s name. I love knowing that a small action could have a positive impact on someone else’s day.
