James Wroblewski is a graduate of Villanova University from Harding, New Jersey. While at Villanova, James double majored in Political Science and Humanities while minoring in History, Theology, Business and Irish Studies. James will be serving in Lawrence, MA, working in the Campus Ministry department at Merrimack College. James is excited for the opportunity to engage with the wider Merrimack and Lawrence communities!

How did you develop a passion for service?
I developed a passion for service through my family. My parents have always taught me to be grateful for the comforts and luxuries I have enjoyed in my life. Yet my family also instilled within me the understanding that it is important to use the privileges I have to help those who may not be as fortunate.

Share an issue you’re passionate about and explain why.
I am passionate about those who have been marginalized by the Church, such as LGBTQ individuals and victims of abuse. It is important to reach out and support those who have been hurt by the Church and to ensure the that the Catholic community works to mend the wounds.
Best moment as an AV to date?
Participating at the Activities Fair at Merrimack and getting to see all this amazing campus has to offer!
What do you like most about living in your new city so far?
I have loved getting to know Merrimack College and the wider Lawrence area! This is such a vibrant and diverse community from the students and staff at the college to local residents. It has been such an exciting time finding my way around and helping to make this place my new home!
