How did you develop a passion for service?

I developed a passion for service through my family. My parents have always taught me to be grateful for the comforts and luxuries I have enjoyed in my life. Yet my family also instilled within me the understanding that it is important to use the privileges I have to help those who may not be as fortunate.

I am passionate about those who have been marginalized by the Church, such as LGBTQ individuals and victims of abuse. It is important to reach out and support those who have been hurt by the Church and to ensure the that the Catholic community works to mend the wounds.
