
Dylan is from San Diego, California. He attended Loyola Marymount University where he obtained a degree in Psychology. This year he will be serving at HIAS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He hopes to have new experiences and opportunities for growth and is excited to explore a new city and build relationships through community and service.

What led you to a year of service?
I think I chose to undertake a year of service from a desire to grow and mature spiritually and emotionally and experience new things.

Who or what inspires you most?
I am inspired a lot by my family and friends and people I meet in service. And I am also inspired by the world and culture around me: nature, art, music, and literature.

What do you like most about living in your new city so far?
I love how close and accessible everything is. Many things are within walking distance to me, and public transportation is easy to use.
