The Augustinian Volunteers are recent college graduates who feel called to spend a year in service to others while living in an intentional community. Volunteers serve with local community partners in social service, campus ministry, and education placements.
By engaging in a way of life inspired by the Augustinian Friars, volunteers experience personal and spiritual development as they build relationships with fellow volunteers and those they serve.
“Do not be content with what you are if you want to become what you are not yet.”
St. Augustine
“It is love that asks, that seeks, that knocks, that finds, and that is faithful to what it finds.”
St. Augustine
“What does love look like? It has hands to help others. It has feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has ears to hear the signs and sorrows of others. That is what love looks like.”
