The Augustinian Volunteers in Chicago serve on the South Side of the city about 15 miles outside of downtown Chicago. The area is less densely populated than the city center and is home to many small, tight knit, diverse, neighborhood communities. The volunteers live in Beverly, an Irish Catholic neighborhood, and serve in a variety of placements throughout the South Side.
St. Rita of Cascia High School
In their own words:
St. Rita of Cascia High School is a Catholic college preparatory school for young men, rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the tradition of St. Augustine, following the Augustinian philosophy of education.
